Translation is perfectly fine for informative text, but when text is designed to trigger an action from readers, e.g. marketing and advertising texts, transcreation is simply a better way. With transcreation, we work on messaging that is to be targeted and localized, keeping recipient audience in mind. With translation, the result is new words in another language. For all marketing texts, we apply transcreation process by default. Another matter of applying transcreation process is a bad source. Here’s how your translation project goes through our processes: a dedicated PM working with you on regular basis assigns your translation task to a dedicated translator with subject matter expertise, then a translation job is reviewed by another linguist – reviewer, who adds value by improving and validating translation.
